Vintage silver plate serving tray platter by K&M of Sheffield, England, a region famous for silver manufacturers. The silver plated serving tray is approx 16" long x 11 5/8" wide, oval shaped.
The front of the tray has beautiful fine etching that is in excellent form & scalloping around the edge.
Very light scratches that do not distract.
The very center of the design is open. The tray shows very light signs of wear & is in excellent form.
The tray is marked as A1 Plate by K&M which indicated the top level, Best silver plating.
Estimated age of manufacturer is 1940-1952.
The pictures do not seem to capture the oval shape of the tray well. :( It looks round in the picks, but it is larger in reality and oval shaped.
