Rustic vintage French metal egg basket. Circa mid century. Earlier than some as later baskets have plastic handles. Collapsible when empty. Once filled and lifted opens out and is quite roomy. Good condition for age. Some light rusting but no damage to metal,at all. Great for hanging in a country style kitchen. Perfect too for carrying veg from an allotment/garden or collecting eggs in. Diameter - 23 cm.
