Commemorative teapot, made in England by Sadler in the cube style, pattern 3721, celebrates the American Bi-Centenary of the American War of Independence - the Revolutionary War. Both sides of the teapot feature the Liberty Bell with American and British flags and munitions. The lid features a US flag, cannon, and crossed swords on two sides. The teapot is is accented with raised gold scroll and line detail. The base explains that the exclusive design was commissioned as a special edition to commemorate the bi-centenary event in 1976.
Approximately 6" tall x 9 1/2" long from handle to spout x 4 1/2 wide. Capacity 5 cups.
Good vintage condition without cracks or chips but it does have crazing over the whole vessel as apparent in photos - examine and zoom photos carefully for condition and characteristics
