Lalique Preening Sparrow Frosted Crystal, 1972 Edition that is very rare now

1972 Vintage Lalique Preening Sparrow (Moineau Coquet) Frosted Crystal designed by Rene Lalique. Signed, acid etched at base, “Lalique France” in script with a “registered” symbol between the two signature words. This peaceful Paperweight Figurine is about 3.55” tall, 4.73” long, and 2.16” deep. Weight is about 17 ounces. This was first made in 1939 and considered Art Deco Animal Art, Decorative Object, Art Glass. The scene is a natural one of this sparrow cleaning itself with her/his head turned sideways to get under the wing for feather cleaning and aligning (preening). The pronounced thick tail and articulated wing and tail feathers combined with the unassuming head and face is considered an Art Deco ornamental look, a luxurious and modern look. There are no imperfections other than the slightest tiny few scratches on the base, observable only with a magnifying glass. This is Mint Condition for a 1972 Antique like this.
