Hand Carved Onyx Angel Wing - created by a Stone Artisan. Wire Wrapped and turned into a wearable necklace by me along with a pair of beautiful, understatedly elegant short dangle earrings.
This is a large piece of Black Onyx - carved + shaped into an Angel's Wing. I topped it with a black stone bead and added a simple, wire wrapped bail with silverplated jewelry wire. The attached chain brings it to right at 24 total length but adjustable by hooking the clasp into any link. I created the earrings from 2 more of the same black stone beads, the same silver plated jewelry wire, and stainless steel posts.
Metaphysical Properties: Onyx is believed to have protective and grounding properties. It's often used to absorb and transform negative energy, and to help with emotional and physical strength.
