• New high quality solid spacer kit used to adjust pinion bearing preload. Replaces crush sleeve.
• SOLID SPACER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Measure the used Crush Sleeve that was originally in the housing. (if not available start with 3 shims) 2. Add enough Shims to the spacer to achieve a total length that is slightly longer than the used Crush Sleeve. 3. Install Spacer and torque the Pinion Nut to 125 foot pounds. At this point pinion pre-load should be loose. 4. Remove the Spacer and Shims. Reduce this Shim Pack in .002 thickness increments and install until the proper bearing pre-load is achieved.
